In 2021, I got a few friends together to take a shot at building an automated greeting card business called Fountain Cards. We researched, designed, and built, a fully-functioning web app.
The idea was that you could write a card on your phone, and have it mailed directly to the recipient without needing to sit down and physically write a card yourself.
The concept was solid and we built most of the app, but we couldn't find a mechanical engineer capable of making the parts we needed to operationalize the business.
